How to back up saves in my summer car

i have died a few times in my summer car and lost a bit of progress. how do i back up save files?

By default the saves are located in C:\Users\yourwindowsusername\AppData\LocalLow\Amistech (at least on Win7 the folder is called that, later versions may have the AppData folders in a different place).

You can make backups of the whole My Summer Car folder there. Although, are you aware you can also play in non-permadeath mode?

Edit: Based on the other thread, I guess you are aware now of the possibility to play without permadeath. :)

non-permadeath just says loading when i go to start the game

imho making backups is way better than play at non permadeath,i tryed both,in non permadeath after crash,the car was left where i crashed,so basically on other end of the map etc,so it was rather annoying

well i would use non permadeath but it doesnt. i think my game is broke i cannot make a new game. when i die in my current game all that happens is i carry on driving but dead and upside down :/ help
