The worst driving physics
I really, really want to enjoy this game but every time I try to leave the house in the van I end up dying or crashing, usually a couple of minutes after the first T-junction. I don't know if I'm experiencing a bug or if the physics are intentional to emulate a 90's Finnish car, but the driving is the worst and most difficult thing I've ever dealt with in a game. Turning too sharply slings the back-end of the van absurdly. The slightest slip off the road sends me into ditches. I have started about 5 different new games because I keep flipping the van or dying. Please tell me if I'm really bad at driving or if these are bugs, and what I can do if I'm just really bad at driving.

Slow down, and tap the breaks don't mash them. Obviously you're going to have less traction on dirt with street tires. It's your driving if the sensitivity is to high just turn it down and should solve your issues :) P.S if you're tired of off road just take a left at the T junction and then a right and instantly on the road a little longer of a drive but less off roading.

some advise, Take the sewage truck, if you hit ♥♥♥♥ in it you dont die and it dont have speedwobble at 100 km/h

Thank you. I will try these once I've gotten over my last failed attempt.

no problem, the sewage truck has a high and low range so red line it in first then hit R to get to high range and youll do normal speeds in it, it doesnt speed wobble and you cant die if you hit a car or tree

Well call me crazy but the physics do represent real life with the current game's development. I was surprised to see my van speed wobble past 100km/h because no other driving simulator did this. I do keep my speed on dirt roads based on the speed sign limit, the speed signs can be ignored but see what works best for you altho the Sewage truck dose tend to "ice skate" past 100km/h as you take the turns

physic level = fine arcade...(also unsmooth road's)

just play some LFS or iracing if you want some good physic's

The van is horrible to drive, you can't brake and turn at the same time so I suggest just going slowly

Put down the rear lift axle and it should stop. There's a switch for it on the dashboard.

I kept dying myself in the van, always put a load of logs in a back to give you some more grip on the back and it helps alot, the logs put more weight on the rear Axel

you know why that is? in the 90s the cars didnt really have an anti-lock braking system... the tires block and dont roll anymore if u hit the brake so you are glinding over the ground.. moving to left, right dont work anymore until the wheels stop blocking thx to the brakes.... its totaly realistic as the van surely isnt a new 90s van but 80s

I also thought it was a cool feature. Then I saw the developer saying that it is actually a bug ´with van's suspension.

I felt a little empty after learning that.

Technically, in real life, speed wobble is caused by the suspension as well, so in a way it IS realistic???

It's a short and narrow but tall van with tiny wheels, it's got the 80 sticker in the back for a reason. It's not supposed to be driven faster than 80. And also: get a steering wheel and pedals. Of course you will lock the brakes if your brake "pedal" (the S key) is only on or off and not an analog brake pedal with varying levels of pressure.

With G27 900 degree wheel with Clutch and H-shifter works nice. Can run 160km/h with Datsun 100A easily in tarmac.
