Take it to the shop.I did mine at home tho, by eye.

there's a guide, something about turning them 52 ticks one way and then so many ticks back. I couldn't be bothered, I just eye-balled it and then took it to the mechanic.

Toe out as much as possible, then about 55 ticks in. Just be sure to do equal ticks in on each side.

It is 120 clicks exactly from one end to the other. Best tip (also on the official wiki page) you turn your wheel all the way until it stops turning, then go 60-61 clicks to get to the middle of the toe angle. Ever since I read that info my alignment has been perfect.

If you don't want to follow a tutorial or count ticks, I found that eyeballing the allignment is a lot easier with the front fenders off.

Toe in or out all the way to the limit. The model stops moving. Go back exactly 60 clicks. You are now dead center. One click out on each tire is better straight line stability. One click in on each tire is better turn in.

+1 to this.

Eyeball in your initial alignment setting with your fenders off. I typically do this on a new build after I get engine in and finishing up all those connections.

Once your up and running your eyeball alignment should be close enough to drive the thing well enough.
Throw the tools in the trunk (or boot is ya call it that) and head to the dragstrip. There you have huge open space that is perfectly flat.

make it yourself if you want to save time go to the bolt at the wheel and move your mouse up until it dont changes the angle then 60 tiks down

Does the alignment get out of whack over time or due to hitting bumps over time?

I just take the car to the machanic, because I can't be bothered to count to 60, with the risk of miscounting or losing count.
