Can't pick stuff up from the ground
I can't pick up stuff like the axe and sausages that have fallen on the ground. I tried clicking on them from every angle, but it won't pet me pick it up. It's pretty game breaking for me because I can't pick up the axe when I have dropped it.

Any suggestions?

your to far away... just stand on it and look right on it to click it. even crouch.

Thank you, the problem was that I was reaching instead of crouching....

If you pressed 2 then you go into toolmode and you cant pick stuff up. press 1

Look at the opening and when the hand symbol appears press F
