My Summer Car, Car/Battery issues

Good afternoon,

I have gone through all the threads I can find but have not found the answer I am looking for so I figured I would post it.

First the batteries are killing me. I buy a new one and by morning it's dead as can be. I am aware if my car would work it wouldn't be an issue since the alternator would charge it but no such luck.

Second, my engine won't turn over. I checked the guides on this. I even completely took the engine back apart and checked to see if any "replacement parts" spawned at the shop but nothing did, so in theory the parts are as they should be. What will happen is for the first evening I have a brand new battery The car will show power and the engine will try to start but won't complete the process. I double checked the spark plugs, all fluids are full and not leaking and no odd noises while trying to start the vehicle. I am worried I happened to get a bug and will have to start the game from scratch, and will if I have to. Though I have put quite a few hours into the game and would rather not.

Sorry for the wall of text but the issue has been frustrating and I was just trying to see if I could get some answers before just scrapping all my work.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Side note, I forgot to mention in the original post. I also spent the additional money and took it to the repair shop for a engine adjustment and motor tuning in case that was off, but no dice.

You have to dismantle your engine to pieces and then go to Fleetari. Buy everything except the block and oil pan, then reassemble. The reason of your troubles are worn out parts which don't work as they should - especially the alternator, crank and pistons.

Sounds like a direction I haven't touched yet. I appreciate the insight, I have about 5,000 mk left so I'll see what that gets me and go from there. Thanks for the assistance.

you can also:
1. take the engine apart
2. put the parts on his desk
3. order the ''fixing of broken engine parts'' option
4. wait for call
5. re build engine
6. ?
7. profit

Would it classify as fixing broken parts if they are worn out. Logically that makes sense but I didn't know if that would proc yet with the game being in alpha testing sorry Early Release stage.

I'll try that first before just buying all new parts.

yeah. they should get fixed even if they are not 100% broken

I got 3 batteries, one is always charging, and one in the boot of the car, and one installed in the car. I noticed that it goes flatt over time, wierd.

I wish the car would charge the battery while driving as in real life.

Well it does. If not, then check your alternator. Also the extra gauges may come handy, they show the current voltage.

It indeed does charge like Meesha said. I don't know how you manage to kill yours, I'm still driving with the stock battery :D

Sure, I made a backup of the save. I'll try to upload it tonight.

The reason I put it that way is everything started going pear shaped after the december 5th update so for kicks and giggles, I backed up my save and then started a new game and as soon as I built the car it ran with no issues and the battery doesn't discharge like crazy either. I would bet that something bugged after the update. I am at work currently (4:02pm est) I work until about 12:30am est so when I get home I'll put that backup on here so people can check to see if they see the oddity.

I checked your save and thouse are my observation
1. Verify integrity of game files
2. Buy new battery or charge one of yours
3. Unscrew aternator save and reloda to unstuck it and remove it
4. To make your satsuma run at lest change 4 pistons, head gasket and alternator
5. Finish instaling halfshafts
6. Adjust your a/f mixture
i did all those things and your car runs like dream
