Monitor no longer is recognized.
I just updated my computer last night and it seemed to just be an average windows 10 software update.
The problem is that now the game doesn't recognize my monitor. My computer is a all-in-one, and everything seems to be working, but now i cannot play the game due to the fact that it does not allow me to see the game.
The weird part is that the game still runs, the only problem is that i can't make it open on screen. I can close it, and hovering over it on the app bar, i can even see the "Shift+tab to open steam overlay" warning poping up, allthough the rest of the little preview screen is black and pressing it does nothing.
I also couldn't find any threads about this.

Is anybody else having this issue? Is there a fix for this?

It sounds like windowze has rolled over your graphics card driver? When you launch the game check the options that opens up for your screen resolution in game? Does it match what the monitor is? It may be too low or too high. Also, make sure it says 'display 1' at the bottom

It shows the resolution to be the one it always was: 1920x1080. The graphics are still in Golden Eye (no VSync).
But here is the weird part. There are no options in "select monitor". It is literaly blank; white and completely empty.

That's what has happened then, windows has updated your driver'. Is it a generic card you use or a make like Nvidia?

Direct quote to steam's "System information" screen:
"Video Card:
Driver: Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600"

If that doesn't help, try deleting the games option.txt file (make a backup just to be safe) it should write out a new one when you start the game.
it's in the following location C:\Users\usernameAppData\LocalLow\Amistech\My Summer Car
Make sure 'show hidden files' is enabled https://www.technipages.com/show-hidden-files-windows

I think you misspelled something in the "C:\Users\usernameAppData\LocalLow\Amistech\My Summer Car" Because i substituted the "Username" with my username and it didn't work. I tried both with ad without the "\" betwen appdata and my username. Also, installing the driver did nothing and the files are not set to hidden.
I know the files you're talking about, but now that i updated my quick access to them disappeared.

I insert "C:\Users\lorenzobolla\AppData\LocalLow\Amistech\My Summer Car" and it does not work. I tried "C:\Drive" too, but to no avail. This is weird because it worked perfectly before, and the files are not set to hidden.

"C:\Users\lorenzobolla\AppData\Roaming\LocalLow\Amistech\My Summer Car" Doesn't work either.

I'm also unable to play Jalopy, It shows me this mensage:
"Switching to resolution 0x0 failed, trying lower one
Switching to resolution 0x0 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: could not switch resolution (1920x1080 fs=1 hz=0)"

It must not have to do with MSC itself, but my computer.
I downloaded the .exe drivers, and they are meant to self install. Do i need to do anything, like open them?

have a read at this https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005637/graphics-drivers.html

skip the download drivers bit.

Then go through this
https://www.howtogeek.com/245592/how-to-improve-gaming-performance-with-intel-hd-graphics-chips/

You need to run the .exe driver loaction
Ok. Also, i did execute the .exe 64 bit driver and it worked to update, but it still shows no display.
Also, when i tried to run the game, besides just launching the little launcher of MSC, it also showed me a mensage like this (translating from portuguese):
"Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater:
The current version of the driver of the audio of Dolby Digital Plus is 7.6.4.9 and the app of software expects the version of the driver 7.3.2.2. Install a valid combination of driver and app of software."
Also, Java needs to be updated. I will update that now while i'm going to eat lunch.
I'll go and eat lunch now and when i'm back i'll take a look at the links you sent me.
