No, i can drive the satsuma in my sleep. Expecting keyboard controls to be easy is a joke in this game though. Wheel / Controller makes this game 10x easier.

I use my joystick to drive (works way better than you'd expect). Analog input is so much nicer than using keyboard.

This is what I'm playing with and I cant drive the van easily with the keyboard

The game is besides much easier with a wheel, but a lot more fun too! Even driving the Hayosiko is fun, something unimaginable with keyboard controls.

Yes, the van is not easy. It took me some 60-90Hrs of gameplay to learn how to use its brakes without locking the wheels, to control its speed to go just fast enough without tooping out a gear and creating a risk of spinning out in a corner, and speacially how to corner with it.
The best advise i have is: dont hold down the brake, you'll lock the wheels, dont be afraid of swithing gears, go slow when you are learning (you'll eventually learn to cruise at 70 Km/h in the dirt roads with the van like me), and in dirt road turns, let of the gas completly and "lead" the van trough the corner.
Practive makes perfect, be ready to die 5 times going to the shop in that deathtrap.

I find that giving it a bit of gas on the turns helps. Just a smidge of gas. Especially on the Jonnez.

But I just can't see myself going out and spending $100+ on a wheel. That G27? That's a $1000 piece of hardware. At that price, this ♥♥♥♥ better be easy! I'm playing on a laptop that cost $300, for perspective.
