MSC Music Manager - Add, Remove and Download Songs!
Hi there!
So I made this tool which - as the name suggests - let's you manage music in your My Summer Car. You can quickly convert these files by putting .mp3, .wav, and others in CD or Radio folder in game directory, you can drag & drop them on the program's window, or on it's executable, you can play the music, delete it, change it's order, sort it, move it quickly between Radio and CD.

LOCALISATION

With MSCMM 2.6, the supports of localisation files has been added. You can help and create translation to your language.
Go HERE[gitlab.com] to learn more.

Currently supported languages are:
- English (UK) - Finnish - Polish Wanted translators for Spanish, Brazilian (Portuguese), German, French, Italian, and Russian.

What's new in 2.11:

Added - Added "Shuffle and Play" custom shortcut! A shortcut that first shuffles all song folders, and then starts the game - You can create it in the settings - Added "Translator Mode" into settings - When enabled, uppon pressing F5, the current localisation will be reloaded and the current window's translation refreshed - Added "Report an Issue" button - Added info about the translation creator - Locale error logs now contain system info - You can now disable locale error logs in the settings Changes - Starting the program with "wipe" will require the user's confirmation - Code optimization Bug Fixes - Fixed an error in which the program would crash if variable "args" was empty in Localisation.DumpError - Fixed possible UI scaling issues

Why do you need all of this, when you can just use the online coverters? Well, you don't have to. It just makes your life tiny bit easier - that's all. Plus from my experience, I can tell that some of these tools don't work quite well, especially with poor Internet connection.

yeah i've got two issues, it's saying there's an unhandled exception and that "object reference not set to an instance of an object", i have no idea what that means, but the program seems to work fine. the other issue is it wouldn't let me tab back into it again after clicking off until it had finished converting.

i also have a suggestion, it should in some way keep track of the songs so you can tell which songs track1, track2, etc are called, even a little .txt with an index of the names of the songs would be better than no information at all.

Can you tell me when this error occurs? And I know about the second issue - I'll try to fix it soon.

Alright so I've pushed new update. Here's what's new for version 2017.12.2.1342

Added: - LOG handler (they're now saved into LOG folder in program's directory) - Conversion output as TXT file as for request of Crazysteve190 - "Open LOG folder" button into Tool menu strip - "Open last conversion log" button into Tool menu strip - After finished conversion, Windows sound now plays - "Launch the game" button Changes: - Moved conversion void to async void - You cannot close program if you've started one conversion Bug fixes: - Fixed bug that would allow start second conversion if one is running already - You can now move window freely when conversion is in progress - Fixed typos - Temporary fix for NullReferenceException error while loading. It'll be fixed later. For now the error window will not pop up

pretty much every song i have is converted off youtube, if you go to convert2mp3.com you can download them as a .ogg, instead of having to use programs to convert them. saves a lot of effort, but to save finding it on youtube or whetever might stop you this is a good idea to convert them

Yeah, but I personally had some issues with this website. And also my tool renames the files so they’re ready to go right after conversion.

Yeah, lets download a song from a compressed source and compress it again into mp3 (with a bad bitrate probably) and then let us compress it again into a different format, in this case vorbis, what could go wrong?
This problem is most evident in videos for quite clear reasons..

Well I personally pay for Spotify Subscription and own few vinyls, and even cassette tapes. I do own CDs too, but it's faster to download music from YouTube!

Two things probably. Not owning digital libraries (I have one but never listen to them thanks to Spotify, most teens/young adults have never had a need for one), but also the easy downloadability of songs of all genres. I wanted mid 90s dance pop to fit my idea of what an amis would have listened to in his car in 1995, and it was easiest to find it on Youtube.

I actually was looking for some eurodance music which I have on old cassette tapes, but it's pretty hard to record it to PC!

So... I've started working on MSC OGG Converter for personal use, but I figured out "why not release it"? So there it is!

You can download it HERE[gitlab.com]. And also if you want you can check the (really messy) source code HERE[gitlab.com].

As for now this tool only supports MP3 files, but I'll try to implement more asap. If you have any issues or suggestions feel free to leave them here or on GitLab.
yeah soooo.. your latest update.... my antivirus was thinking it was dangerous and it is scanning it right now.... should that be happening or did you do something wrong?
sorry if my english is bad, i am quite tired right now

I actually got the same issue with WIndows SmartScreen. That's because I forgot to put certification thingy, but you know - there's source code which you can check. I can guarantee that there's no viruses/trojans/teimos here

This is VirusTotal scan[www.virustotal.com]. I'm not sure exactly why Rising and Cylance antiviruses are tripped really - there's no reason at all for it :/
