Any similar games to this?
I really love the whole "need to drive into town to get stuff" thing, and i was wondering if there were any other games like this where you have to drive places to buy stuff, and theres a project like building a house but you have to go buy materials and stuff, thanks in advance

Im refering specifically to the ability to drive places to buy stuff, and where you have a project your working on, like maybe a house instead of a car idk

Maybe you would like Gold Rush The Game. I've only seen videos of it but it seems similar to what you want. Looks a bit repetitive though. But it appears to be you have your truck, and you buy items from the warehouse and drive them to your rented area and set it all up. Maybe have a look at some youtube videos of it.

Yeah it did seem quite buggy when I looked. Idk it's not really my type of game anyway.

Yeah thanks anyway, but yeah any games with that kind of concept would be great, if there aren't any someone should make some

Jalopy might be similar in some ways but I haven't tried that one. I agree about MSC, it's very unique and one of the most interesting game mechanics I've ever seen.

Construction Simulator 2015. Exactly what you described - ". . . drive places to buy stuff, and theres a project like building a house but you have to go buy materials and stuff . . . "

do you go to the shop to buy stuff in Farming Simulator?

of course there's any number of MMOs where you have to go to shops to buy stuff, they're all in fantasy settings though, not realistic ones.

edit: also, (assuming you're not yet an independent adult) if you wait a few years you get to go to the shop and buy stuff, you'd probably be able to build a house for yourself too.

Looked at it but that feels like more of a professional company vs a DIY project
i have farming simulator. i saw some youtube let’s plays and thought i’d love it, but when i played it there was something about the controller scheme that felt really jarring to me and kept pulling me out of the zone, so i stopped playing. ymmv ofc

Car mechanic simulator maybe ? You can visit barns for cars and parts :steammocking:

Try Jalopy

But this game really is a genre of its own, more reason to vote for this game for "defies descrption" award!!
