Fleetari’s engine tuning
Hi all,

What does this engine tuning do exactly? Because it’s pretty expensive... does it also fix the broken engine parts?

"repair broken engine parts" will repair any parts you put on his desk without any other parts attached to them. "engine adjustment" adjusts the carburetor and valves to basic values (but don't use that one unless you've hopelessly messed up the tune, it's not worth it otherwise), "motor tuning" does the same but for performance, neither of them are perfect tunings so if you want the best power from your engine, i reccomend learning how to do it and doing it yourself with a scewdriver. there's tutorials for it, if you're into that.

I managed to drop a piston, i pulled the motor and loaded it in the van, do i need to take the engine and the busted piston to the shop to have it repaired?

You must put each broken part on the desk then order "repair broken engine parts" from the catalog. Parts assembled to each other won't be touched.

Or you can buy replacements parts but that still requires you to hand over the old ones.

Okay thanks for the info!

Do not bother with the "repair broken engine" parts. Just buy new ones off of the shelf. He repairs the parts to a wear rate of 50%. The new ones are 90-99%.

Guys I can't find my busted piston. When I quit the game I had my engine in the van and the piston. I log in today and the van is gone, engine is on the motor puller, and no piston

the piston doesn't matter because you can buy a new one. the engine block randomly teleports onto the hoist sometimes, but i dunno about the van. where did you save?

I saved at the house. Found all my stuff thankfully. Got new parts, but I guess I have to buy a new block now. Can't put on the new piston or head gasket.

if the block isn't visibly damaged, it's fine. you may have bought the wrong piston. the "snap" position for the pistons isn't in the block btw, it's somewhere above it, where the rockers would be if they were installed.

So, if I messed my tuning up pretty bad, should I let Fleetari adjust it, and later tune it better myself?

if it's bad enough that you can't fix it yourself, then yeah.
