Does lights work (oil light , headlights), if those work battery is fine, if u hold ignition but u can't hear starter then that part is broken.

Parts to check if they're tightened/broken: Electrics, Starter, Alternator, Spark Plugs, Distributor

I guess headlights should work if u only have electrics bolted in, working battery, dashboard+meters installed, headlighs bolted in and ignition is turned on (or does car need other stuff to get headlights working?).
If lheadlights doesn't work when they should it could explain why car doesn't start, maybe there's some weird glitch that causing car to not start because headlights are not working either, idk.

What does battery charger show for value when u connect battery to it?

Electrics = tightened and not broken. Starter = tightened and not broken. Alternator = tightened and not broken. Spark Plugs = tightened and not broken . Distributor = tightened and not broken

I'm having same issue. loaded defaultES2File.txt into the MSCEditor to check things out and no loose bolts, no broken parts. Battery not listed as item or satsuma report. Did a fresh install on different machine and same thing.. don't know if that is part of issue or not. Started a similar thread before finding this one.

the editor is outdated now, this is why the satsuma report isn't reliable. when the last version of the editor was made, batteries were in the defaultES2, now they're in the items file.

I made a new save. I built the car and it worked perfectly, and then i went to do some jobs with gifu and when im back i have the EXACT same problem. Replacing battery does ♥♥♥♥-all

the battery on old cars does slowly drain away over time, irl old cars need to be started every few days or so and run to charge the battery back up if the car isn't used regularly. it might be worth verifying your game files.

But the battery is full and it was off for like just a half a day, although I slept in gifu too
