Cars ignition isnt working. [Solved]
All fixed. Turns out it was the battery. Thanks Crazysteve190!

I just had to buy a new battery from the store.

I've checked the batteries they all appear to be charged. I've played with the alternator and spark plugs and every suggestion I found online. But nothing seems to get the ignition working. Any help? Thanks.

the battery charger shows the current going into the battery, not the charge in it, so a maxed out dial on the charger indicates that a battery is empty. buy a new battery, i'm unconvinced that the battery charger works at all tbh, so just leave the thing alone, batteries will come fully charged from the shop.

I had bought a new battery and yet to no avail. I put the shops battery into the charger and it was maxed out too

yeah that's what i mean, just don't touch the charger, don't put a battery near that thing, true to life i suppose, those things never did their bloody job.

do you get the red light on the dash or any electrical activity in the car? that's the indicator that the battery has enough power to crank, if not check the bolts on the dash, electrics and steering column, if the light comes on but the car still doesn't crank, check the starter and flywheel bolts, if none of that works you probably need a new starter, none of the other relevant parts for cranking can break.

Ah okay. I’ll need to try buy another then. I’ll get back when I do so. Thanks for the help so far. Also yeah. No lights on the dash.

Same problem, bought a fresh battery and the car cranks over but doesn't start, looks like I'll have to keep buying batteries since cranking the car drains them quite fast :/

no probs. i have no idea if it's an intentional troll or an accident that the battery charger ruins any battery put on it...

Yeah probably a mistake. Or maybe thats what actually happens who knows.

Well I'm having this exact same issue and I'm so sure all my parts are ok. Gonna buy another one and give the feedback aswell then other people that have this issue can be helped.

Theres a new electrical and Spark plug system. Make sure you're up to date with them.
