I've had no problems with the twin carbs either, unless you count some skidding when starting. A few crashes due to taking corners a bit too fast and the muffler falling off every now and then, but no issues with the engine.
I'd imagine the racing carburettor and especially N2O destroys the engine pretty quickly though.
Just when I get a broken headgasket replaced so that the engine holds oil and get a custom paintjob from fleetari, I start to drive home. Casually and carefully - and suddenly something bangs off and the car comes to a halt. After a good while of figuring out what had broken off, it seemed the rocker shaft had exploded.
No idea why. My fuel ratio was good, all fluids in the car, nothing making noise, the valves set to "7 clicks" and I was driving completely normally without hitting anything.
Bad luck I guess.
Sometimes I have indeed felt like there are only cons for driving the satsuma :D
But I'll keep at it and hope eventually things will be good.
Oh and yeah I do let the engine warm to half of the temp gauge without revving aswell..
