Green little car path

i've searched on internet but can't find the path of the green car that you can take to get home, does he go in villages ?

He spawns near the crossing with the road to the landfill/airstrip and heads towards Loppe and the Perajarvi. Then back again the same route. If, after loading your save, you drive immediately to the first crossing, you will always meet him coming from the right.

Edit: if you hitchhike him, he will take you home. To stop, use the "o" key.

does he actually take you all the way back home? would make being stranded marginally less horrible

Yep, he does.

He'll start speeding if you do things like swear, flip the bird or crack open a cold one but he'll also slow down if you use the "o" key.
