Money Suitcase Changed position?

Hi Everyone !

I spent last 3 hours irl trying to find the money suitcase.
Finally found it, take it, put it in my car... on my way home, I notice I don't have any fuel left and my car stopped in middle of nowhere. So I decided to quit and reload my save since now I know where it is.

I go to the same exact place..... no suitcase.

Does it change position when you load the save? OMG I hope not ! Really don't want to lose another 3h on this !

I closed the game, I'll try to reload my save again to see if it's there...

Wouldn't happen, you need to drive the drunk guy home 4-6 times before he tells you about it.

It doesn't show up until you go thru the drunk guys stories, unless you cheat.

But then there is that map that shows all the spawn locations, If you know where to find it -grins-

Haha you guys did not understand my question at all XD

I know there are multiple locations. I have the map. Like I said, I've already found it.
Then I put it in my car, didn't have enough fuel to get back.
So I decided to reload my save.

Logically, when you reload your save game, everything should go back where they were when you saved the game. So the suitcase should be where I found it. At the same location since I reloaded the same game. But it wasn't.

I just wanted to know if it was normal. Anyway since then I found it again and got my 5M$ hehe

No when you reload a save, your flush a cache... so anything random, well it's gonna reload at a random place, the suitcase does just that.

I had the suitcase at my house, it vanished after update, checked all the known spawn points and it was not there...

Wait for drunk guy telling you where it is also if there was update so maybe there are new positions

Yea I think more locations were added for Briefcase.
Some folks on YouTube I been watching, one in particular said that once the N2O updates came, his briefcase he had already unlocked/found and brought home, had gone missed. After a few of the various hotfixes (like ability to die by pumping fuel while smoking); after such updates his briefcase mysteriously re-spawned where he had left it at home.

I think ToplessGun has figured out ways that the saved game file can capture/save certain data, but also keep that hidden from tools like MSC Editor. Which he did with things like the old Computer the Player was going to have on their bedroom desk. So I think he's using such methods to keep briefcase out of sight from such tools. But I think what we should be able to do (not sure if possible or not, so don't quote me) is have the ability to re-set that quest, like we can do with Fleetari's Junk Cars and the Sewage Dumping Vandalism at Inspection Station

Well, I brough him back home and the kuji guy sed nothing, I then checked the known locations, still nothing. You say it should had respawned? I had it on my house roof.
