Takes entirely wayyy too long to fill the truck up
Needs to be cut down by at least half. Grinds the game to a halt.

Fill the truck up?

Don't run ya tank out. Just keep topping it up each trip into town.

I agree that you should be able to stick the pump into the tank and leave it on while you shop, and then just come back to it once it hit the autostop.

That said, it should still take the same amount of time to fill up.

Once filled a 4x4 with extended range tanks (designed for crossing the outback). I swear to god I was at the pump for a hour. It ended up being at least $150 in fuel.

We're not IRL. I shouldn't be perfectly fine before I start pumping and then close to starvation and death when I'm finally finished.

this game might not be IRL,but it is a simulator...

and i never was close to starvation and death even when i was refulling completely empty tank...

Truck pumps have twice the "flow" (at least) as car pumps. Either on separate pumps or the pump has a switch / Button for Car and Truck.

This should been in the game aswell.

The term "simulator" is used very loosely in this game.

Yeah. But bush towns in the 90's normally only had 2 pumps - diesel and regular leaded. If you were filling a tractor or a trailer, you would go to the depo.

This is the 90's. Not the 50's.
You would hit the button for Truck or pick up the thick hose and noozle that want fit in the car hole and fill up your truck or tracktor.

I lived on a trucking route, on the wheatbelt. We had a seperate servo for large vehicles - it was more like a depo. Farmers would take a fuel trailer there, or get it delivered to their property in bulk and stored in tanks there The servo that cars and buses and the like would fill at only had 4 fuels - diesel, regular leaded, regular unleaded, super - all from 2 pump. No high flow hoses, no buttons or anything. Half the time you were lucky if the gun had a working 'hold the handle down' tab switch thingy.

I work at an airport and the pumps to fuel our equipment are just as slow as the MSC ones.....they are also probably built in 1995 haha

I live in Siberia, which is lot alike Finland, except lots of information about my birthplace is a myth (we don't have drinking problems, we don't play balalaikas and bears could be seen only far in the north in the villages of dredger or sawmill workers).
Not every town (even today) has large gas stations with separate pumps for large vehicles.
Moreover, I remember how bad it was in the 1990s with these gas stations. Once we were on a car trip and refueled at a gas station at a small local river port. These bastards probably pored gasoline into the former diesel storage and distributed that demonic mix. We've lost our airfilter because of heavy detonation in the carb.
