Gear Linkage Falling with all bolts tightened
My car is just about done. I was excited to drive it, when i turned it on and popped the Satsuna into gear the linkage fell off. Is there a possible solution to this annoying problem?

You missed a bolt, or didn't have one tightened all the way. That's the only thing that will cause that failure.
A bolt could have backed out on a save or something too. I was under my car, and noticed my drain plug was all the way loose...I know I tightened it. Then, of first test drive, the drive gear fell off. I know for a fact, all seven bolts were tight.

The way I fixed this was to remove the 3 bolts, remove the linkage, save/quit, load save, reattach linkage and bolts.

If you haven't noticed yet, this thread has been dead for 5 years. Pretty sure OP figured out the problem by now.

I’m just posting to give props to “LittleBlueDuneBuggy”. Haven’t heard that one in a long time. 👍
