200 mph
I'm having trouble going 200 mph. I've got every upgrade, including roll cage and bucket seats and 3.70 gear ratio, but I can't get it to go. It just stays at 160 and clicks there over and over. I literally drove around the whole map until my 14.3 F/A ratio went up to 16, and my engine blew. Still no 200 mph. What am I doing wrong here?

You are not able to hit 200 mph in this game

Yes, it's 200 km/h. You need rally wheels. And make sure your valves are well adjusted.
Mikhail Reign Feb 27, 2017 @ 12:26am
Yeah sounds like your valves need doing. How did you over heat the engine if you werent able to get it to the red line tho?

Km, right. Sorry, I wrote this late at night when my brain was fried. I knew it wasn't mph, I just wrote down what I knew best. I've got the rally tires, and I thought my valves were tuned pretty well. I'll check when I'm home. I overheated the engine because I drove around the whole map full speed to try and get it to 200 on the downhill parts. I'll fix it when I get home and try again.

Rally Wheels (they have the Blue&Red lettered markings on them) + all Racing parts, Seat & Harness. Take to the Mechanic and have him:
- Roll Cage
- Tune the Engine
- Check the Brakes
- Wheel Alignment
- Set Gears to 3.70

Then when you pickup, install your Seat Harness, and remember to buckle it after entering Driving Mode. Then you should be fine.
Those areas of the highway with good dips, are you best bet to hitting the 200+ kmph

I've been told to not have the engine tuned by the mechanic because he often messes up.
SomKilla Feb 27, 2017 @ 9:56am
If you do engine tuning and motor tuing he will set the valves perfect and screw up the A/F ratio
Bad 💀 Motha Feb 27, 2017 @ 12:12pm
The A/F ratio just gets reset, no big deal, takes like 5 secs to set that correctly yourself.

The mechanic sets the valves at a running mode, you want to tune them up yourself to get the best results as stated above, but the mechanic is the only way of changing the gears. The higher the number, the higher your low-end torque, this means less stalling when taking off, and it's easier to rip out of traction to powerslide or gain bursts of acceleration at lower speeds (LIKE for Rally or Cheesing the Drag races off the start. Then, The lower the number, the higher your max speed and how fast you accelerate in later gears. Hope this helps :).

If you scroll all the way up tell you hear clicking sounds than scroll down slowly tell it stops clicking, do same for all.

If you were to look at it in MSCeditor it would look something like this
7.5
8
7.5
8
7.5
8
7.5
8
and thats under "rockershaft"

Should the RPMs go up slow or fast?
GamePlay Feb 27, 2017 @ 4:58pm
yeah, you don't want it slugish, fast.
Bad 💀 Motha Feb 27, 2017 @ 5:00pm
Then why is I never tuned them myself; I had mechanic Tune Engine and use 3.70 for the Gears; done, ran around the highway two times (cause once I really had to slow for vehicles coming both ways a couple times) and bam, got the achievement, no problem.
