What do you guys Think? What kind of things are in this game, and are the not so family friendly features avoidable or can be turned off in the settings for example?

If you go by the official ratings, it is most likely ESRB rating 17+. Alcohol use, simulated gambling, some gore, lots of strong language, crude humor, a bit of simulated violence.

i have been working on cars since i was 5 (by working i mean learning) but the last 2 years i srsly have started like mounting suspension parts on the cars me and my dad work on +internet knowledge
so yeh i tought this is going to be harded but i built the car in 2-3 hrs

If your kids can handle seeing a cigarette and some 14 year old level swearing they'll be fine.

a VERY old post but, honestly id say 12 if you dont gamble in the game or use cheats otherwise id say 14

If you talk about swearing, by the schools in this days, the game should be 12-13. Believe me, in today's schools there is the same strong language.
Alcohol? Gambling? Come on, some kids (also me) probably won't be "negatively affected". They should be enough mature.
Violence? Come on. Blood on screen when you die? Isn't that bad.
To be honest, I would rate this 13-14.
