G27 clutch problem
Can't really get the clutch pedal adjusted. I'm using H-shifter and have pedals for gas, brake and clutch, but the clutch kinda works as "on/off" switch only, so I'm forced to play on auto clutch. Any one has found anything about this or am I the only one?

You'll need to reasign the clutch input to your pedal again by doing the following, press the clutch pedal all the way down THEN press asign ingame, it should work now if not i'm not sure what's wrong.

I want a solution for this as well, i litterally need to step on the glutch to change gear. Then it "turns on" and you can work the gears. Changing sensitivities in the logitech settings don't do anything. Possible to change sensitivities or ratios in MSC?

Got the Same pedals but g920 wheel.

G29 here. I would like a little more gradual engagement on the clutch. If you're reeeealy slow with it, you can tell it isn't "on/off". Set the sensitivity in Logitech Gaming Software to %100, it helps a liitle, and I mean a little. But I still think the clutch engages too fast and too low. Changing gears can be a pain if you don't have the thing all the way to the floor, but that should actually be accurate for a car this old. Synchros are nothing but tiny dust particles swimming in the gear oil, lol. If it even had synchs to begin with!

I have to agree that standing on the clutch screaming and being angry can be quite a accurate situation.

Im pretty sure it's not an quality of the game, but it's an problem of the game. I mean if I press 100% of the pedal, the clutch is on. If I decrease the clutch to 99,995%, it goes completely off. It wouldn't make any, and I mean any difference if I just had the clutch on some keyboard button.

Im pretty sure the developer talked about this clutch problem thing in his like 45min long youtube video in 2015 or so, before the game was actually released ons team. That's why I thought it might have some fix already. Well, I do love the game, I'll stick to using auto clutch. While ♥♥♥♥♥♥ clutch would be realistic, this is more ike button clutch from Formula 1.

With half warm engine, the way clutch works is dangerous to engine. I mean you can't even start movin without revving the engine, because it just stalls with low gas, because the clutch works ON-OFF way. You gotta always take that revving tire burning start or not to take start at all, or just use auto clutch.

Done it, but it just makes it work the way I described. The gas pedal and break are better, luckily.

have a g29 same issue. least amount of problem if i set the clutch sensetivity in G hub to 1. 0 makes it like on/off. be back after testing a bit more.

There’s a “clutch precision” option under Car Controls. I have mine set to 90 (running a Logitech G920). It still kind of feels like an ON/OFF switch though, with a little play that feels *comfortable*.

Try this, perhaps:

I have had this issue for ever since i used my wheel. Its like u only use the bottom half of the push down of the pedals. I am so used to it now so it don't affect me anymore but i know the frustration with it. And turns out its just the game.

To you and everyone else using wheel and pedals. Use the calibrator. took me about 10 minutes to set up, just follow the instructions and you are all set.

my personal preference is to set Clutch to +2.0 gamma (you will se it in the settings)
This will fix the clutch problem. i can now get out of a ditch without reving the engine. just have to be carefull on the throttle.

You know, I was having problems with my pedals last night out of the blue. They were inverted again somehow, and my brake was acting all screwy (being way too hard to register in the game when I had it set in windows to be easy).

I attempted multiple times to load up the calibrator, but for some reason it just wouldn’t work. I’ve used it before, and I even overwrote that .dll file again, launch game and when I hit calibrate nothing comes up. Not sure what went wrong. But suddenly my brake decided to act normal again. So idk what was going on. But it feels like I broke something because I basically sat near the phone over an entire game week and haven’t gotten a single sewage call. I feel like….some stuff went weird on me once my “oilfilterdirt” vanished from editor list, and after that I verified integrity in Steam….seems like something got funky during that little bout.
