but a bike would not have nearly as many parts so it could work (I think but I don't know how this game works of course.).
Hopefully the dev will see it and we'll se what he thinks.
Really? Did he say that he will not make any more buildable cars because most PCs lack the power to run the game? Interesting. Because in the FAQ he says this;
Q: Can we only modify that main car?
A: Right now, only that car can be fully modified. There might be more plans for other modable cars, but it's still uncertain during this time of development.
.. and oh, look here; http://steamcommunity.com/app/516750/discussions/2/135507403156182224/#c135507403156629409
So I mean, he either said that a new buildable car is definately a no-go, or that it's possible but after full game release. Personally I think the latter. Even if you are right that most PCs can't handle the simulation of two buildable cars at once, then make it so that you have to choose which car you want to build from the main menu, BEFORE you start. I mean, there are ways around it, so..
As for the topic itself, I actually don't want a motorcycle in the game simply because it's way too difficult to simulate how a motorcycle actually drives in a game. Not even the major AAA titles focued 100% on motorcycle racing can simulate a motorcycle properly, and so imagine the disaster that would happen if a 2 man team tries it, no disrespect TG. :P
I mean, implementing a bike isn't hard, but succeeding in making the bike feel genuine and true is something else entirely.
GTA?....
You guys need to play SBK X.... Any probably ride a bike. Anything that doesn't let you eat ♥♥♥♥ simply by accellerating wrong is doing bike physics wrong.
I'm a long time player of LFS, started with that well over 10 years ago now and it is still the best simulation to date as far as tire physics goes, granted they have ways to go there too. LFS, with it's three devs where mostly one of them is doing the coding.. it's taken them just a bit over 15 years in development to get to the physics they have today - and that's for cars. Imagine how long it would take one developer/coder to accurately simulate motorcycle physics which is numerous times more advanced than that in a car.
So out of a realistic standpoint, I don't think motorcycles will be a part of this game. It would be fun if it was, don't get me wrong - I just think that the devs of MSC should focus on other parts of the game.
What exactly is it about he physicsib sbkx that you don't like?
