Mk1 MX-5 Miata as the next car?

A suggestion I've never heard but definatley a classic, the Mk.1 Mazda MX5 started production in 1989 meaning it would fit within the time of the game. Could be some kind of buyable / reward for something as it is a lot newer than the rest of the vehicles in the game, and could be pre-built but tunable?

I highly doubt that you'd be able to own any sports car in the game, or even any recent passenger car of the time period. It would just take away the focus of the game away from building and driving the Satsuma.

The mk1 mx-5 was nothing even close to a sports car. Completely stock and without a tune it exerts around 113 horsepower, and a top speed that is only 10 mph above that of the satsumas. I would like to see a feature in the game to make other buildable cars though especiallyyy the mk1 mx5

It is a sports car though. Sports car do not have to be fast especially roadsters.

As someone who OWNS a Mazda Mx5 Mk1 NA Harvard. it is NOT a sports car by any means except for weight, That is the only real reason its got a sports classification is due to weight.

Also the VW Polo is a sports car by these same classifications. think that though.

I myself would LOVE to have an MX5 NA in MSC. maybe even in MWC.

the car in MSC is modeld after the Datsun 100A which weighs 2,348 lbs
A 1997 Mazda MX-5 (NA) weighs 2,180 lbs
thats 168 lbs difference...
so it would still make logical sense.

This topic is from 2017 - today we know (the Dev said it multiple times) that there will NOT be any bigger updates to MSC anymore. The only thing you can hope for is a Mod.
