A flatbed truck to carry the car.
No, i do not own the game, but i am constantly watching youtube videos. :P

I think no one would disagree if you added a truck (or just a trailer for one of the existing vehicles) that can carry the car if it breaks down/after crashes if permadeath isn't on and when trying to pass inspection, that way you're not driving it unregistered and it could be a fun roleplaying thing. :)

PS: Please don't kill me for making the suggestion without actually playing the game. :)

By stating that you don't own the game and that you constantly watch YouTube videos, I can only come to the conclusion that you pirated the game. Otherwise, you wouldn't need to mention it at all.

On topic:
Suggested numerous times. It's hard to find a nice way to do this without ruining the purpose of the tow ropes. Many have suggested a callable towtruck, others ahve suggested buying a towtruck. Some have suggested putting ramps on the logging trailer.

No matter how it might be implemented, there's no reason to have it.

I'd go with classic saucepan-shaped UFO with tractor beam that you can call to help you.

Actually yeah, like you find a broken UFO somewhere in the woods, help it to get airborne(like bringing supplies, and doing some repair jobs), and in reward you get some sort of a communication device that you can use to call them. And when used, they come around, emit tractor beam that is 3m in diameter and it suck in everything that it covers, and then drop by your garage.

Also it would be nice if someone called my tea supplier and told them to stop sending me free samples.

There is already a trailer for the tractor. Loading Satsuma onto it could be a little bit easier, though.

You do realize you're just asking for it with this?

@Lien: Big surprise for you mate, i haven't pirated the game, nor will i. If i were a pirate a wouldn't have a 400+ game library.
Do the wheels not fall off if you crash too hard (assuming you have permadeath off)? THen it'd be useful. Or am i wrong?

@Col. Sandels: Yeah, figured it out after Liens post. Oh well, it's his opinion. :) Now on topic, guess the dev(s?) could make an attachment for that trailer, not sure if it's the right size though. If that is something people wish though, i merely suggested it. :)

What's with the reposts? Anyway. The amount of games in your library has nothing to do with whether or not you pirate any games. I have over a hundred in my library. That does not mean that I don't pirate a few every now and then. There's no shame in it.

I've never had the wheels fall off from a hard crash. I only play with permadeath, but just because your vehicle flies apart does not mean you die. But wheels can be put on road-side. Just crouch by the hub and the wheels will lock into place and it will roll. Worse case, you can just drag it. Since it's a game, the car just slides when it doesn't have wheels.

The car fits into the trailer just fine. The problem that currently presents itself is that the trailer sits too high to drive the car into it. It's higher than the bed on my lifted truck and I've struggled to hand lift non-wheeled things into it(a piano once, but there was 4 of us lifting). You'd need some pretty long and sketchy ramps to be able to drive the Satsuma(car) into it. Seems like more trouble than it is worth to use the log trailer as a car hauler. So may as well scrap this idea.

Like I said. It's just hard to find a way to implement such a thing.

Edit: In regards to piracy, nothing is preventing you: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/651939391/353916184354401517/

Got it, had no idea you can push the car if it hasn't got wheels. So it's a bad idea, just kinda had to suggest after i've read a few threads on people losing parts away from home. :)
As i said, i had no idea about the wheels, or whether they fall off, the only crashes i've seen in this game caused people to die. This one dude got nailed by a truck on the highway.

They might not prevent piracy actively, but i still wouldn't pirate it. I would really like to have this game in my Steam account, and that's when i want to play for the first time without spoiling myself by pirating it beforehand. There's simply a thrill for me with games like these and playing legitly. Not really sure how to explain it though.

I get it. I support developers as often as I can. Most of the times I won't play a game until I've bought it for myself, but only after researching the game.

Yeaup, so many times i've seen people buy a game and then go on the forums all disappointed. I don't think i've ever purchased a game without extensive research beforehand. Except this is the first time a game has mesmerized me so much that i've spent so many hours just waching videos and reading threads on the forum outside of researching it. :) Usually i just wishlist and quitely wait until i can buy it. :)

Baack on topic. Why can't there be a specialised car trailer we can buy and tow with the van? It could be something like 15,000-20,000 mk, so you'd have to save up a lot to buy it.

Or maybe make it so you can buy that wrecked Gifu next to Fleetari's shop, and mod its chassis into some sort of trailer - Or at least have a hard towbar leftover somewhere near the airfield from when it was still an airfield, probably minus the wheels which you'd have to fit yourself.

Bumping my old thread by quoting this post, still both awesome ideas, the wrecked Gifu and the hard towbar.

And holy crap i've been addicted to this game for over a year O.o
