On topic:
Suggested numerous times. It's hard to find a nice way to do this without ruining the purpose of the tow ropes. Many have suggested a callable towtruck, others ahve suggested buying a towtruck. Some have suggested putting ramps on the logging trailer.
No matter how it might be implemented, there's no reason to have it.
You do realize you're just asking for it with this?
Do the wheels not fall off if you crash too hard (assuming you have permadeath off)? THen it'd be useful. Or am i wrong?
@Col. Sandels: Yeah, figured it out after Liens post. Oh well, it's his opinion. :) Now on topic, guess the dev(s?) could make an attachment for that trailer, not sure if it's the right size though. If that is something people wish though, i merely suggested it. :)

I've never had the wheels fall off from a hard crash. I only play with permadeath, but just because your vehicle flies apart does not mean you die. But wheels can be put on road-side. Just crouch by the hub and the wheels will lock into place and it will roll. Worse case, you can just drag it. Since it's a game, the car just slides when it doesn't have wheels.
The car fits into the trailer just fine. The problem that currently presents itself is that the trailer sits too high to drive the car into it. It's higher than the bed on my lifted truck and I've struggled to hand lift non-wheeled things into it(a piano once, but there was 4 of us lifting). You'd need some pretty long and sketchy ramps to be able to drive the Satsuma(car) into it. Seems like more trouble than it is worth to use the log trailer as a car hauler. So may as well scrap this idea.
Like I said. It's just hard to find a way to implement such a thing.
Edit: In regards to piracy, nothing is preventing you: http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/651939391/353916184354401517/
As i said, i had no idea about the wheels, or whether they fall off, the only crashes i've seen in this game caused people to die. This one dude got nailed by a truck on the highway.
They might not prevent piracy actively, but i still wouldn't pirate it. I would really like to have this game in my Steam account, and that's when i want to play for the first time without spoiling myself by pirating it beforehand. There's simply a thrill for me with games like these and playing legitly. Not really sure how to explain it though.
Bumping my old thread by quoting this post, still both awesome ideas, the wrecked Gifu and the hard towbar.
And holy crap i've been addicted to this game for over a year O.o
