Being able to cover over the inspection pit

I like the realism in MSC and I always park the Satsuma in the garage. Every now and then, I'll fall into it and have to half destroy it to get it out. I'd just like to be able to cover it over so I can actually use it as a garage that I can park cars in.

There's a mod that you kit a switch and a metal sheet cover it. Idk where, but i saw. This should be good to add at vanilla.

Try and be careful when lining up the car, and if you need to get out and push it to the left or right.

No. IRL people have small wood plates at least to cover the pit. At least there's a mod that fixes that.

Is it even possible to use the garage for car storage? Last time I tried the car moved after I loaded my game and was in the pit.

Yes. No issues for me. Sometimes I'll park the car crooked but it's easy to push it to the side a little bit.
