License Plate Random Generator

Why we all have VBX-403 on our plates? How about a random generator that makes every plate unique when the car got through the inspection? We all want to use our own skins and build cars unique, and then we all get the same plates... Looks funny in photo collection, really. :)

Finns can get custom plates with enough money... Too pricey for me but it's possible. ;)

A custom plate costing whatever it did cost in 1995 would be the right addition.

Bump, was going to make a thread on custom plates but this one is fresh enough. Could just simply be made an external file such as the poster templates.

There's some regulations regarding to custom plates though, and you have to pay the fee whether it gets approved or not. So I think the best way would be to have a form to fill in with your desired license number at the inspection place, which you could hand over and pay the fee for. After that, you'd wait for a few weeks to get it approved/denied. If it's approved, you could trade in your old plates for the custom ones.

The current regulations about custom plates regarding cars state that:

- A car's license plate can have 2-3 letters and a maximum of 3 letters.
- CD letter combination is reserved for diplomatic vehicles only.
- A zero (0) cannot be in the beginning of the number part nor can it be the only number.

According to the above, plates such as TIS-517, PAS-2, or PER-53 would be acceptable and very appropriate for the Satsuma.

And price for custom plates should be about 5000mk. I think it was about that in '95. Now inspection place is one time visit only, after that there is at least something to do after inspection.
