Ambient Occlusion, Wind, Weather
Hey Folks nice game u made! I miss some smaller things, which might be added. Some life in the villages (walking people, u can knock on others peoples doors, etc.), ambient occlusion on 3d objects, wind and dynamic weather.

Ambient life in the villages would indeed be nice, although there would need to be a way to prevent deliberately running over the pedestrians. This isn't/shouldn't be a GTA clone. It could be as simple as forcing a permadeath game over regardless of your permadeath setting if you go fast enough to *kill* a pedestrian, with the game over screen implying you've been sent to prison, but that would be almost as game-breaking as involving the police would -- especially if the collision was accidental. Making the pedestrians incorporeal or into solid collision objects (like crashing into a brick wall) would also be received a little more poorly. Perhaps the best option would be simply to make them realistically heavy physical objects like in reality, but invulnerable, so that if you accidentally power-slid around a corner into a pedestrian, you'd wind up staving in the side of your Satsuma without actually harming the pedestrian, discouraging you from trying again in the future: but this, too, would result in plenty of Video Game Cruelty Potential, with less socialised players knocking pedestrians onto roofs or into the lake or pushing them into oncoming traffic or whatnot.

Weather *is* dynamic: it changes from sun to overcast to rain to storm in varying patterns, and you can even witness the storm fronts moving in.

Right now the player is held accountable for any damage to the police, including those done by AI vehicle. Anything involving pedestrians would probably better wait till that improves.
