Shouldn't watching TV reduce stress?

I get that watching it during the night will increase fatigue, but shouldn't watching it during normal schedule make the stress go down or something? there's little point in watching TV if it serves no purpose.

Well it serves the purpose of falling asleep, after some douche calls you for a ride home, but stress reduction makes sense.

yeah, during the night. But i think daytime TV should reduce stress. Unless part of the point of the game was that i would have to spam N to reduce it.

I think the point of stress is to encourage players to drink and smoke more.

But I agree, nothing like a case of beer and a classic movie such as Topless Gun to kick the stress.
