ruscko doesent cool back to 0 in new update

so the ruscko has temp partially simulated, but no matter what it wont cool below 80 making driving really anoying when it warms up

Yeah, but it's gotten to the point where it's absolutely useless in every possible way, apart from storage, and you can use the whole game world for that. The fact is, even that shed isn't worth the betting. I have a sneaking suspicion most people did the Ventti game for the car more than they did for the house.

But now that the car is absolutely useless in every way, that entire part of the game is likely to simply not get played. Because honestly, what does the shack do? Absolutely nothing, you can sleep in the truck, in the car or basically anywhere you place the junk couch to, it literally does nothing special that can't be done basically everywhere else in the game.

Heck, i even downloaded the Tangerine for fun as i actually like driving all the different vehicles. But you can bet i'll never be getting the Ruscko again as it would be just a waste of time, same with the shack, i only ever got it because it was there right after the car. If i ever restart again, i'll just drive the tractor to town again and do everything in one shot.

It wasn't a crutch to most people, it was an interesting vehicle to drive, but not anymore.

Just wish Topless would realize this, as he's just wasting his time making it crappier since all that'll do is make everyone not use it or bet for it.

PS: My sincere apologies for the slight rant, just kinda annoyed at the whole "Ruscko should be useless stance" since it's turning into a waste of code and assets.

I get thats its annoying for it to be almost useless, but I also get the point topless is trying to drive home, The game was made to focus on the satsuma, you use what you have to earn money to build, drive and upgrade the satsuma and a lot of people where just using the ruscko because it was a complete and running car that could be aquired for free with a screwdriver after killing the wasps or could be won through betting if so inclined and it did make it a crutch to a lot of people and made it a bit too overpowered, so he nerfed it and while yes it IS a bit useless by now it also does make sense with how the car was left in a shed before we got it and just started trying to drive it even though it should have just been left alone or given some maintinence first since its just clapped out but now it fits the bill of a "clapped out rust box". If he's really going to make it this useless it SHOULD honestly be easier to get then dumping money on gambling but the whole point is that too many people where leaning on it too much when the whole point of the game was to build and drive the satsuma, and if the ruscko has to be almost useless to make people drive the satsuma then maybe there has to be some tweaks and changes to the satsuma, or maybe a way to fix up the ruscko a lil via fleetari later on, but it was honestly just too easy to rely on since other then stalling it was just too good of a car for something yanked out of a barn after being parked for years

Wouldn't it be easier for him to just remove the ability to start it with a screwdriver? That way, people can't use it as it wasn't intended, and those of us that actually put in the time to get it legit can actually have our lovely rust bucket back.
Heck, it wasn't perfect when it was originally implemented, but was still good enough that spending the time and money to get it was worth it. Now it just isn't.

You COULD yes, and that is a truthfully better option. Though i think it being an absolute junker may have something to do with it getting scrapped in the new game, which would mean a reason to scrap it would be better lore wise and its a bit of a tough spot now that people are so used to using it for stuff

When MWC comes out, it could simply be mention that the car suddenly died or burst into flames or something. Its demise can be realistically instantaneous. From failed chassis, to blown engine to simply decaying in a few year in open weather after leaving the shed.

Yes and no, it'd be a bit odd and should actually have some symptoms that it's not in good shape, having a bad starter and dead battery are kinda just little things, the car needs a bit of reason to have been parked in the first place aside from just looking beat up, at this point its a bit overkill, but it does the job in portraying the car as a pile of ♥♥♥♥, it just does it TOO good and makes it a useless pile of crap. A better option would be maybe trans issues or maybe a slight rodknock thats audible when driving

Coolant has a point where it gets "used up" and needs flushed and replaced, especially once it's sat for a long period of time or if it's been in the car for a lot of miles so the coolant being inefective is realistic to a degree
