I've tried using different (brand new) fluids, saving and re-entering the game, saving the game & restarting game. None of this has fixed it.
Brake fluid: Rotate it like crazy until it starts doing something (this is the worst culprit)
Coolant: Not completely upside down, but like pouring a drink.
Motor oil: Probably the easiest one to use, just tilt it upside down.
Gasoline: Similar to coolant, just watch the gauge.
@Jamiski: I never have to rotate the containers like your claiming. What I do is simply pour the stuff in with the container tilted at an angle - just like I would do in real life. If you hold the container vertically or almost vertically you may indeed encounter some issues. Try a 45-60 degree angle.
