Virtualbox game crash
I am trying to use Virtualbox to play the game since I have a Mac. I managed to install the game on my virtual Windows 7 (32 bit), but every time I try to run the game I get an error message.
The error message reads:

"The game crashed.
The crash report folder named "2016-11-08_182958" next to the game executable.
It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!"

In addition, Steam brings up a message saying "Failed to start game (app already running)"

Does this have something to do with me using Virtualbox? Anyone else experience this?

did you enable 3D support in virtualbox? :p

I checked the "enable 3D acceleration" box and set the video memory up to 144 MB. Now when I launch the game from Steam, I see the "preparing to launch" window appearing for a split second and then vanishing again.

The game in my Steam library reads "My Summer Car - Running", but there is no game open and I can't find it. If I try to launch it again, the preparing-to-launch windows appears, but after some 5-10 seconds I get a message from steam saying "Failed to launch (app already running)."

Hi again, I tried to increase the memory size on the virtual computer, and now it's back to what it was in the first place. The game crashes with the same "great-if-you-send-to-developer" message.

I'm going to try to run it through my Windows PC via VirtualBox and see what happens.

I did a fresh install of Windows 64bit on Virtualbox, gave it plenty of video memory, 4GB of ram 4 cores to work with, and it still crashed after pressing Play. I also turned on acclleration. Nothing.

My specs:

AMD FX8370 @ 4.3ghz
Gigabyte GTX 970 Base clock
16GB DDR3 RAM

I don't believe it will be able to run in Virtualbox, unfortunatey.

Sorry for late answer, but I got it working now. I ditched Virtualbox and used Wineskin instead, and the game runs fine now. I followed the instructions form this link.

Only problem I have is that sometimes when starting the game, it doesn't seem to detect my keyboard. But I just restart the game, and it's fixed. Thanks anyways :)
