Moped won't move forward
For some reason the moped will not move forward for me at all. The reverse gear jerks backward and will slowly accelerate to high velocities which is pretty funny(I think the jerking backwards is normal because it's representing the character but I never used the moped enough to know if you could always accelerate it), but the forward gears do nothing. The gear indicator says I have shifted to 1 or 2 but the bike doesn't move and the engine revs as if it were still in neutral. The issue is present for me on fresh saves for both stable and experimental branch.

Umm, are you holding the handbrake key or something?

I know you said you hear it rev, but lets check the boxes in case something is bugged.
Ok lets go through the checklist:
1. Does it have fuel?
2. Is the Fuel Tap open and visibly turned downward?
3. Are you mounted on the bike in Driving Mode?
4. Kick the starter until you hear the engine running.
5. When you first start the bike it should be in neutral.
6. Hold the clutch in, shift into 1st gear, give it gas and let go of the clutch.
Bonus Round:
7. If it's still not moving, are the wheels glitched into the ground or is in facing a sharp upward grade that could keep it from moving? Try picking up the bike, placing it on flat ground, and trying again.
8. Do you have any mods installed? If yes, even if you think they won't affect it remove them temporarily and try again. It's easy to do on this game and worth the effort just in case.

If it's still not working, it's definitely a bug. Only thing I can think of that may be related is a post on the forums a while back about an issue where the clutch bugged out, and they had to delete a file and re-verify the cache. Might do a search for something similar and try it out before posting a bug report.

Well, apparently it did have something to do with the handbrake. I had it bound to an axis(it wasn't being pushed, might have been a bit of a deadzone issue) and binding it to a button instead made it stop acting that way. It doesn't act like it's braked when you do it though, it acts like it's staying in neutral where you can just idle it without stalling. Does having the analogue handbrake on even a tiny sliver with the moped cause it to engage the clutch? I guess that'd be a question for toplessgun.

holding the brake activates the clutch

Yeah, it is a deadzone issue with the axis I had assigned the handbrake after all. I feel dumb.
