Turn singal bug
Hi. I have found out that if you turn on turn singal (for example, left turn singal), and turn left atleast 90' degrees then steer back to center, it will not turn off. However, when you turn right it will turn off. Same for the other turn singal.

Did anybody notice it?

That's how turn signals work...

You're not understanding my point, I'm saying is that if you steer left with a left turn singal, the singal will not turn off without steering right.

And I'm saying that's how turn signals work. When you turn the wheel back past centre they auto flick off.

I believe he's saying that using the left signal, it turns off as normal when returning to center. But if he uses the right signal, it does not turn off as norma.

I dunno - at the end he says it's the same for both indicators.

What I think it might be, is that as soon as you turn right, the left indicator will turn off, even if you only 'turned right' so that you were turning left less. Ie: it turns off when you turn the wheel in the right direction, not when it returns to centre and then goes further right.

Yeah, it's kind of confusing what he's saying. From your interpretation, it is just normal operation.

I'm sorry if I'm comfusing you. If you steer left with a right indicator, and steer back to center, it will not respond without turning opposite way. Same goes for other indicator.

So what you are sayin is:

If you turn the wheel to the LEFT and then put the RIGHT indicator on and allow the wheel to return to CENTRE, it won't turn off unless you turn LEFT?

No, I'm saying is:

if you put on RIGHT indicator the STEERING WHEEL will NOT RESPOND without turning LEFT. SAME GOING FOR OTHER INDICATOR.

That sounds like normal operation to me.

Really? you would steer left with a right turn indicator?

No. But if I'm turning right, I don't want the signal to go off until my wheel goes left of center.

Yep. I think the problem here is that the indicator turns off when you turn the wheel the opposite way to the way you are indicating, reguardless of how much you turn it.

If you have your left indicator on, and are fully locked to the left, it shouldn't turn off if I lessen my turn to the left (and so turn the wheel right) which is what it currently does.

It should only turn off once the wheel passes centre. Thats my memory of how indicators work in a car (I ride a motorcycle - haven't 'driven' in years).

Correct. It should be turned off *only* when going back to center or if you turn wheel more then 180degrees..
That's how normal indicators work.
