Cannot screw brack/clutch lining

With the Ratchet set, I cannot screw the brake and clutch lining the nuts & screws are highlited, I cannot ticgten them. By the way, the ratchet is switched the right way

i read somewhere that that is intentional. some nuts can only be tightened with spanners, not the ratchet set.

ah ok. So I guess that's the same with the fuel line into the tank then?

I would think so, if the line runs through the nut. Don't know for sure though.

real ratchet sets can't tighten nuts because the shaft that the nut is on gets in the way of the socket, only special long ones like the spark plug wrench can do those.

Makes so much sense how we'd need to use spanners for brake lining, otherwise we'd have to be a magician to be able to screw on brake lining with a ratchet
