You can get the original SEGA GENESIS games on Steam, but if you want TJ&E 3 you'll have to beat down SEGA's door. They are the ones who would be in control of porting it to PC or not.

This remake is from the original creator of the series, but there is no SEGA involvement this time.

I have it, but don't play it much. It lost a lot with how the 'layered' levels were removed for generic 'falling off' and reappearing instantly back where you fell. Dunno whose idea that was to throw one of the game's most notable shticks out of the window like that, but it was an idiotic design choice.

Having said that, it does have its charm and plays well for what it is. If it got a PC port, I'd hope for some Workshop support; as it would need modding to keep it feeling fresh enough to bother with, in light of the new game's arrival.

There is a prototype Dreamcast version that is very playable in an emulator. The build eventually crashes when you get far enough, but it might give you that sweet PC TJ&E fix.

Yeah, obviously. I think the devs even said as much in the Kickstarter for this game... though, that could have been regarding 'Funkatron'... I forget.

Either way, whoever thought it a good idea to can everything that made one of the genuine classics of its time what it was (both with respect to 'Funkatron' and '3'), should have had their video game design license revoked!
