UE4-Mid crash error

This error occurs if you set the proper sound output format above 192kHz (I have an external DAC that can reach 384kHz inside Windows 11).

So, if anyone had the same error, just go System > Sound > Properties > Output settings > Format > 192000Hz (studio quality) at most

I've got the same, "The UE4-MID Game has crashed and will close" after 10 min of playing.

the UE4-MID crash can be anything.
You have too check Error Message, and the logs to see What was the cause of your crash.

My Crash was right after "My parents" wake fight at the start of the game:

Error: Direct3DDevice->CreateUnorderedAccessView(Texture->GetResource(),&UAVDesc,(ID3D11UnorderedAccessView**)UnorderedAccessView.GetInitReference()) failed

Same here, I just bought it and was super excited to play it and it crashes before I can ever start playing...

Well this game is completely broken. I have tried every version of the game (from the first release until the last patch). NON of them can go beyond Chapter 3 start. (AFTER you watch your parent argue through the keyhole.)

At least i can get the refund played the game less than 2 hours.

And my game also breaks down immediately after starting with this error :'( I thought it was because of my windows 7... But does everyone in this thread have windows 7?? I do not think so..

I have windows 10 and it also happened. I even deleted the game and reinstalled it but now none of my save files are working.

Doesn't matter if its 7 or 10.
But you *might* be able to continue on with some 3rd part dx11 trickery by installing this pack: https://github.com/doitsujin/dxvk/releases. (A Vulkan-based translation layer for Direct3D 9/10/11 which allows running 3D applications on Linux using Wine.)
Use the d3d11.dll (also dxgi.dll) in the x64 folder and copy it to the "\Martha Is Dead\MID\Binaries\Win64\" folder. (alsomt worked for me, i got further before crashing)

You could also try with reshade dll's
