Why is Modding that hard?
Whats is wrong Codemaster?
Why are you making the live for any Modder that hard? There are so munch complains about your Software that you can not Mod it anymore!?

Change that please so the Community can finally update the liverys and bring back the times where Player can design their "own" game.

For example look at games like "Formula 1 99 - 02" or "rFactor". These games are still played because you can Mod! I know that you can not compare this games, in terms of modding with the newer ones but i hope you get my point.

So i can just appeal to you and i hope, you can do something in that case.

Sincerly yours,

a PC-Player

Because everyone hacked in older version... instead of make servers with anti-hack they blocked everything. If you want play with mod you have to be offline on Steam or you wont be able to save progress :/

ok thats a problem... but you have the solution! Anti-hack servers, but that would be work to do and to block everything is easier and cheaper....

They dont want you to mod so the game stills fun for more than 1 year, they want you to buy this game EVERY year version, ALSO, their falied DENUVO and already cracked mess with modders

@Lady Oscar, so if I play the game offline, I will be able to save my progress in career with livery mods?

if the developers would put a bit of work into the detail, then nobody would come to the idea of modding the game. so codemasters, update the cars in their look and aerodynamic, then many fans had been soothed.

It's their right to make it unmoddable.

Also, you agreed to the EULA which says that you're not allowed to modify it.

Of course thats their right but that, like always from big Software Companys, is a step in the wrong direction! Let the players have a prober game so they dont have to do it...

Man this Industry getting worse and worse!

one reason: have you heard F1Esports events on steam/pc? less hacks, fairer contest~

If i remember correctly there was a big mess with mods on the older f1 titles. i believe it was some sort with messing with the sponsors on the cars (tabacco and alcohol brands). When i remember correctly FIA forced codemasters that future versions are not modding able.

ah ok so FIA is to blame...
yeah but williams without the red stribes looks awfull

I get your point but they didn't install anything. You did.

I pointed this out in another posting somewhere that the F1 license probably has a lot to do with it. If you recall last year, several websites (including racedepartment.com) we're required to take down mods that were F1 related because the F1 governing body demanded it. What would you do if you were CM and F1 gave you license rights but said you couldn't allow modding.
