Game not starting

when I start the game, I get the following message: unable to connect to the server due to lack of internet connection. (i got internet connection). Then it redirects me to the support page but that page is down. I there any chance to run this game without connection with server?

I've been trying too, but it looks like it is not possible. I only ever play offline career, so these forced online checks are annoying.
You could try going into offline mode in Steam and try launching. That works for some people.
But I haven't played it for a while so it is telling me to launch in online mode first before I can then choose to run in offline mode.

i have same problem. I have this on another PC that worked fine a few weeks ago.

It's working - I installed F1 2012 to test it, and somehow it has made F1 2017 and F1 2019 work again. It must have reinstalled a Windows runtime or something that is used by all the F1 games. I hope that might help you somehow, maybe a reinstall will fix it?
