Can't rebind key because it has a preset control scheme

I guess this is the reason to why we are stuck in the replay mode and the menu movies/animations can't be aborted.
Any solutions to this rather than removing the wheel?

You have to duplicate the control scheme (options). It will ask for a name default is Custom Control Scheme, save it then you edit the new scheme.

I created a new set-up for my wheel and first thing I did was to clear the binds and neither of the keys I try to bind are currently in my control scheme
