Voice Control Disabled

Anyone knows how to enable it? Microphone works in all other games.

within game: Preferences>Audio settings>advanced audio settings>push to talk (multiplayer (even if not). Goto Customize controls and make sure you have a key assigned for the talk button (Called: Voice Control). Now last and for me the longest to work out (and easiest) **Make sure you start PC (or reboot) with Speakers/Cans/Mics PLUGGED IN**

I am pretty new here and for several weeks have been trying to get my voice control working. Tried everything suggested in various discussions without progress.
It is true that I (being a total beginner) managed to improve some Windows settings, which gave me the feeling that the microphone was working. I even installed Cortana and asked "F1 2017 game voice control not working" and omg it referred me to various forum discussions about the subject AND I found a message about moving the microphone pod (close and open it).
Having done more stupid things in my life .... I tried even this and IT WORKED !!!

i am using the Logitech G933 headset and my game regularly showed the warning voice control not supported. I moved the microphone pod up and down and the message disappeared and voice control was working.

I hope someone else will find this useful one day.

(PS you need to install all language packs i think)

Thanks! This also worked for me on a fresh Win 10 installation!
Now the F1 2017 voice commands work in Windows 10

I have the Macintosh version of this game, so I don't know if this feature is also on the Windows version... I discovered a hidden setting on the pre-game Options loading screen (hold Cmd+Alt key while double clicking on the F1 2017 app icon (not in steam window)). It's under the Advanced panel, called 'Speech detection sensitivity', and mine was set to the very left of the sliding bar, presumably that means zero, so set it to near to right hand side. That might explain why Jeff could only hear 'static'.
