Monaco Hairpin is impossible
I cannot get round that hairpin, i take the perfect line and am on 11 11 aero but i always hit the wall. I've tried accelerating to kick out the back but the aero sends me into the wall. I've tried going 10mph, 20mph and everything in between. it is flat out impossible for me to get round without hitting the curb and skidding, which i cant do because im going too slow...

It should be possible.

Though it's definitely a bit harder this year because Ich habe cars are wider.

it is possible, it's just your setup. increase front-toe and front-anti-roll-bar and you can even have more than a meter space to the wall at exit

will give it a try, thanks for the advice

Have you tried using one of the setups in the workshop?
I know you mentioned you set your aero to maximum but as echo suggests there is more that might make the turn easier.
I know little about how a lot of it affects the car but there are people out there kind enough to share their setups.
There is also Youtube races who share their setups in their videos like:

Aarava https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNOFH51WG4I&t=311s (his setup for each track is in this video)

TRL Limitless https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7YEx4vyUr7U (this is his video with his Monaco setup)

I still find the hairpin impossible with a controller, no matter the setup.

When I hit a wall I see the game "unlocks" full steering rotation, but without hitting the wall the steering rotation is too small, even if I come to a stop...

I have no experience with a controller on this years game, but I had the same issue last year before I had my wheel.

I think what I did in the end was increase the input saturation, that helped a ton on Monaco. Maybe try that?

Are you really going slowly enough? Not trying to sound condescending but we always try to push a bit too hard and it's ok to slow down in some instances!

The corner is really hard and I've had a few crashes, of course, but it's far from impossible in my experience. I'm using default controls and and X1 controller.

You can change how much stearing the controlelr does in the advanced setup menu for the controller.

There is also an option to make the car turn in more tighter when the controler is at full lock.

Settings > Customise controls > Control schemes > Edit one of the controlelr options

Go across the tabs at the top to calibration and edit the values for:
Steering linearity
Steering Saturation

I have them set at 10 and 30 at the moment, but still adjusting them as needed.

if you touch the kerb during turning it will help
SpeedKiller.txt 30 SEP 2017 a las 10:53 a. m.
if you can get past it, then its possible... just go slower maybe...

Slower is worse

Thanks for the tips guys.

For whatever reason increasing steering saturation from 0 to 10 made a big difference to how much the wheel will turn and I can now take the hairpin consistently.

I've just finished a 100% race on monaco and didnt have any issues with the hairpin using a xbox 1 controller. its hard to judge for sure, but not impossible. just play around with your entry and exit lines until you find the sweet spot

Oh god, thank you. I glanced over these settings when setting it up but just wanted to get stuck in so everything was at 0. It was literally impossible to make that hairpin. Made some adjustments, nailed it first time. Thanks again!
