Xbox One Controller rumble does not work
I just installed the game and when I tried a quick race I noticed that the vibration doesn't work. I checked my controller on other games and it rumbles just fine, it works on F1 2015, last F1 game I bought, I checked all the settings, all is turned on but I get no feedback and that's sad. The game seems great but I keep spinning out as I don't get any feeing from the controller. I mean, I could get used to it but it feels so boring without the rumble. WTF. I'll re-install the game, maybe that'll do it. Anyone else have this issue ?

Did you turn on trigger rumble? Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 doesn't support trigger rumble. Turn it off and normal vibration is enabled.

I do have Win 8.1. So how do I turn off trigger rumble then ? In the game control settings trigger rumble is set to auto and I cannot change that.

You can choose between auto, on or off. Set it to off.

Works fine on the 360 Controller, probably just the XBONE controller.

That's the thing, the option is there but it won't let me change it, it's greyed out.

any ideas guys, I tried everything I can think of so far, I re-installed the game, reinstalled the drivers, the controller works fine on all games but this one and the option to turn off the trigger rumble is still greyed out. I was so looking forward to this game and it's been such a dissapointment so far damn it.

yeah i also tried everything and its not possible to fix it.. the trigger rumble option is greyed out and i also couldn't find it in any config files -.-

THIS really sucks.. i started the game with my dualshock 4 controller emulating an xbox 360 controller and the rumble worked, but on my xbox one controller it doesn't.. codemasters needs to fix this !

Nevermind, I just figured it out. Seems that I had to go into Steam settings and activate the controller for some reason. Works fine in all other Codemasters racing games but for F1 2017 I had to activate it. It rumbles just fine now and the game is finally playable.

That feature is still greyed out but the vibration works fine, so try going to steam setting and click on general controller settings. I didn't change any of the settings, I just basically clicked on that and that's it. I launched the game and it asked me to configure the controller, all the keys and I just skipped that and it works.

oh, I did one more thing, I also clicked on Controller Configuration in the right hand side of the F1 2017 screen, under discussions, I then clicked on all my controller buttons and closed it. So yeah, I have no ideea what I did but try it :)

btw it works once i put the loading cable/wire into the xbox one controller.. THIS must be a bug.. otherwise it doesn't make sense.. the trigger rumble option still stays greyed out, but the normal rumble works once the controller is wired..

once i use it wireless, the rumble doesn't work again -.-
