How do i unlock map extension area????

so i bought the official map extension area but its not showing up to being able to make a route there do i need to level up more to unlock this area after i complete other ones??

You get access to the new areas after completing the first 12 missions included with the original game.

The new missions to unlock the new bus stops in new areas will become available after completing all of the 12 missions of the main game (the last one is called “Nightlife”). If you didn’t get this far yet, you can also start a new company in sandbox mode (the option to do so will get unlocked after reaching level 8 in a single player save game of your choice). In sandbox mode you are playing without any missions and all bus stops, buses, skins, decals etc. are unlocked directly.

other question i have is what if my friend is the leader of the company we were doing together but only i have the dlc for the map extentsion ??? will it allow me to still make the routes in that area for us? cause only i have the dlc and no where near unlocking it on my company

If you don't own the DLC you can drive routes that have been created by an owner, but only the owners of the DLC are allowed to create routes in the new area. That's intended to work this way ;-)

That is awesome sweet thanks for letting me know :D

only other problem is i am Australian and when myself and my friend play who is from England sometimes cars spawn in front of the buses or under/inside of us in multiplayer in a co op on multiplayer and its really frustrating getting 25,000 fines i know mods you can use to earn 1million but still annoying when you trying to get a clean run for exp and putting other drivers on to it

Also the ai taking over when traffic comes other way he pulls over into your lane and takes ya bus out

few other frustrating things... is how jumpy the bus is in a tag a long the bus jumps around and gets air and and gives the driver fines when they are driving fine lol sometimes kicks you out of the bus and fall out

Things like this happen if you are running into sync issues because of a delay caused by the internet connection beteween you and the other player/s.
