How to change the text shown on bus display?

It shows the whole name of tour (line), which is probably convenient, but most often, the text is too long. "Real" buses usually have custom name for different direction (only the name of last stop).
Therefore I ask, Is there a way to use different texting than the "default route name" ?

yes there is indeed. You need to go to you're route, press the gear icon, then you can change the name of you're route.

Yeah so i will be only as displayed, no variety, right? But I suppose the drivers will always make he same route - so if it goes A-B-C, I change the name to "C", and then drive it under this name - all buses I will meet will have the "C" on display?

As far as i know, if you change this route, in the route editor (before you start you're route), yes you can see a.i. drivers driving around with that text. As for "variety", you are right, nothing special. That was also never the meaning of this game, this game doesn't even have proper physics. This option for instance, was added as a additional update (2 years back), so it was never build in to the game. It goes to show what this game is, just driving around. Also, never expect to get a update as a "wish", because bus sim 21 is just around the corner (speculation for a "release" expecting in june).
