Truck Sim games are fantastic in VR - indeed, after playing a sim game in VR, it is very difficult go go back to a flat screen. What applies there, applies here too. It may well be worth your time looking into this, as VR is gaining real traction in the sim market, and this will only become more the case in the future. Also, VR is pretty much baked into both Unreal (which I suspect you are using here) and Unity. The market is small at the moment, but it is significant., and will be difficult to ignore in the future.
I considered buying the game, but dropped it when I figured out there's no VR support. And no, IR tracking isn't the same.
same
However does BS21 have any VR mode confirmed or in the pipeline?
That's a disappointment if I am honest, would the trick mention above work for 21 would you think? I didn't want to go through all that if 21 supported VR out the box.
Its just playing a virtual screen with "track ir" the problem is that although it does work, you don't get any other immersion, in fact it is worse than track IR as VR headsets don't have full panaramic views, so you turn your head to the right but you can't see the "screen" because the lens of the headset won't show it.
I will be buying this game anyway, but after playing ETS2 in VR with a steering wheel, it really has blown my mind, and made me realise how much VR helps with the gameplay. You do get "lost" into it all.
I would even be willing to pay for a VR DLC if it gives me the full blown experience.
I'm also an ets2 VR player and can never go back to flat screen. Shame, cause Bus Simulator is such a good game.
