Problem occurs with ACTION BUTTON when switching between Xbox Controller and Mouse.
Got problem. :frowning: When I use between my Xbox controller and mouse, such as I use my mouse to control my ticket machine, then when I want use my ACTION BUTTON (which is Left D-Pad), it will NOT work. The mouse appears and disappears and the menu don't appear. Anyone face the same problem as me?

Bump.

I don't use Xbox controller, but experience a somewhat related thing. I use left mouse button and G key on keyboard for actions. And sometimes G stops working requiring me to perform an action with mouse. Particularly, when I start in a garage and want to unlock the front door: have to unlock one with mouse, then G starts to work too.

Overall, there are lots and lots of bugs with controls in this game right now. For example, Numpad 8, 5, 9, 6 are supposed to be seat ajustments by default, but numpad 6 opened the door for me while seat ajustments were invisibly locked to / * - +
Braking in neutral works as accelerator instead, and so on.

Oh! :( Yeah I agree with the numpad thing too!

@BryanChung: Did you press the action menu button while you still were in the ticket machine view? Because you have to leave that view with the B button first.

@Stormmaster: Have you bound the "Select" as well as the "Interact" action both to the same keys? Because if only one of them is bound, that might be the problem. (It once made sense that they were different actions but not anymore, so you have to assign the same thing to both. We will hopefully merge the two actions into one in the near future.)

About the messed up default controls, they will be fixed in the next update. If you already changed some of the controls you unfortunately have to reset them to get them to work properly and then you can personalize them again.

@Mo : Nope. I'm sure I exit-ed the ticket machine. There are times when I launch drive, my Left D-Pad isn't working already. I have to restart my whole game.

Hm... Have you checked if it is bound to any other input action? Or is it sometimes working and sometimes not?

Sometimes is working, sometimes is not.

Well, for me it works, just need to click mouse button once (I found out that I can click anywhere), then G starts to work. This is a minor issue, there are lots of other more important things to fix. I am glad all this is being worked on.

Thank you, Mo, for replying.

I had a look, and I have to say that I like that there are separate controls for "select" and "interact": this allows me to map keys in a way that I am used to. I.e. I am using the same "G" button for both "interact" and "leave driver's seat", while "select" is mapped to left mouse button. I am doing so, because I usually use "G" for use/interact (open doors, press switches, talk to NPC, e.t.c) when controlling characters in games, which usually also means boarding/disembarking vehicles if applicable.

So I would very much like the option to keep it this way.
