Low FPS problems
Hi!
I just bought Bus Simulator 18 some hours ago and I have only 25-35 fps while I'm on a route.(After the last stop I got only 10 fps...)
So I just wanted to ask that Am I the only one who has this issue? Or my PC is too potato to run this game?
my specs:
-AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz
-Asus strix rx 560 4GB
-8GB DDR3 HyperX 1866MHz(1x8GB)
(I installed it into a Western Digital Blue 1TB HDD)
I bought the game on steam and I only have 91 minutes... So should I go for a refund from steam or wait until the first patch?
So much thanks for everyone who will spend time to answer me :P

Me too after the last stop my game is at 10-20 FPS with my controller masi I try with my xbox one controller and nothing.
So that can be for that but also because of an optimization problem.

So it means I have low fps after last stop because just because I use a wheel?! That's funny :D

I have not had an issue with framerate using the G27. I only get the half frame rate once I have completed my last stop.

Hello,
Me when I press a touch of the G27 is horrible, I have a big fall FPS.
But when I use the keyboard or the xbox one, I have no lag.
Help me please!

This is a known bug that will get fixed with the upcoming update.

As mentioned in some other threads and reviews, the stillalive dev team is already working under high pressure to find a solution for you performance problems.

Unfortunately, the problem seems to be very complex as in many cases systems with nearly identical hardware specs show significantly different fps counts.

We are currently evaluating the possibility whether this strange performance behavior may be caused by the in-game streaming system. To proof our assumption, it would be great if you could follow these steps:

1. Start a route and drive through the city while keeping an eye on your fps count
2. Come to a stop at a random location and don't move any further / don't look around with the camera
3. If the fps count increases significantly within the next few seconds and keeps stable afterwards (while you still not move), it's quite possible that your performance issues are caused by the game's streaming system (especially if your system specs meet the recommend system requirements).

To technically improve the streaming system's environment on your PC, we recommend to :
- Install the Bus Simulator 18 on a different hard drive than your Windows OS.
- Install the Bus Simulator 18 on a SSD instead of a HDD.
- Make sure that there are no hard drive intensive processes active in the background (e.g. virus scanner, update downloads etc.)

Everything that takes the load off your hard drive should help to increase the performance of Bus Simulator 18 on your system (if the performance issues are caused by the streaming system).
