My game lag, what should i do?

pentium dual core 6g 8 gb ram gtx960 win 7 64bit its not so much lagg its unreal has too much going on turned every setting down but there is too much detail need a super computer every crack in the kerb for detail is a bit too much

Wow really? I'm on GTX 1070 ASUS Dual Fan, and I don't stuttering here. Are you on latest graphic driver?

I have i7 4790k, 16gb ram, gtx 1070 dual fan, windows 10 pro 64bit and my settings are highest, i get 70-80 fps but SOME places drop down to 50 fps which isn't still too bad.

You have better cpu then I do, but Im not sure about that mobo. I have ASUS Maximus VII Hero its a gaming mobo. You shouldn't lag, bummer abit weird.

if vsync is enabled, i suggest disabling that.

Hi giacomol22,

We're sorry to hear about your performance issues.

Try the following to improve the performance:
Try turning the mirror quality down. Depending on how much you need to turn it down, the mirrors can become rather useless, but the performance improves a lot.
Turn AI traffic down. By default it is set to high, and it really affects performance for many players. Of course the traffic is quite sparse then, which some people may not like.

Best tip I can give you is to stay away from games made by this dev, BS18 uses the UE4 engine which should run great on most systems but somehow this game has a lot of fps drops for me and many other people. I recently bought Scum which also uses the UE4 engine and that game looks a lot better then BS18 and it runs on 70 to 80 fps. So I guess it's just bad programming.
