Map Extension DLC not available? confirming something
Hey all, I am currently level 5, completed like 3 or 4 missions. I bought the map DLC and so far my map in the route planner is grayed out for the new areas. From my research, it seems I have to complete a regular map missions to unlock the DLC? Can I confirm this is correct?
If so, after you complete these, what happens? all of a sudden those areas open up and are not longer grayed?

Thanks.

Yup, correct. You need to complete everything on the base map before you can continue ;)

And yes, it will no longer be grayed out ;)

Buying the map extension DLC opens the access to the new areas in the southern part of the map – incl. Kerststadt, the airport and Sonnstein. The new missions to unlock the new bus stops in new areas will become available after completing all of the 12 missions of the main game (the last one is called “Nightlife”). If you didn’t get this far yet, you can also start a new company in sandbox mode (the option to do so will get unlocked after reaching level 8 in a single player save game of your choice). In sandbox mode you are playing without any missions and all bus stops, buses, skins, decals etc. are unlocked directly.

Hey Psycho, I know, maybe not the right topic to ask you this question but i was interested to know If there are going to be busses in bus sim 21 with real steerable axles? Like a bendy bus with rear steering axle, would be cool!

Also, could say if the physics are going to improve in 21 compared to 18 and by how much? ;)
