Ignore 'em, been spamming useless garbage in various topics here.

I've long ditched Fernbus because I personally think TML are incompetent at doing anything stable. Physics are a joke, bugs left in that supposedly were fixed but not, among other things. Traffic AI is also utter garbage as well and will gridlock themselves if left long enough.

Then there's the passengers that complain about every little thing you do if you're not perfect.

Those are just my personal gripes with the game. Don't take my word for it. If you want to try it, by all means, do so. But, its basically gone in my trash bin, never to be touched again.

Thanks for the replies.
I already have Fernbus and like you, was not overly impressed.
I also have OMSI 2 which is a real sim.
Unfortunately it is getting very dated.
So I was hoping BS 18 might be a suitable replacement for OMSI 2.
Perhaps I should have asked that in the first post instead of confusing the issue by mentioning Fernbus.

Heh.

No, BS18 is not a replacement for OMSI 2. Yes, it is dated, but at the same time, it is not fit for modern hardware either... Still runs like crap even on my tower. I see new content for it all the time, but it does no good with the main engine itself doesn't take any real advantage of the hardware and requires way too many tweaks to get it to run in a stable manner.

That would be a fairly accurate description of OMSI 2.
So I am looking at alternatives.

Sadly, there are none. OMSI has been the de-facto standard of hardcore simulation of operating a bus. Nothing to this day has been able to even get close to such simulation.

Thought that might be the case.
