I did a test of all the buses and the only bus that actually sticks out is the basic Mercedes Benz Citaro. It was the only one that had a noticable difference. In my little test zone it reached 81km/h easy while about all the others reached nearly 77km/h. The Citaro just keep accelating while the others have quit a slow start or start to slow down when going fast. I tested all the buses in automatic gearbox and no rpm boost at the start.
Note: All the bendy buses could not do a rpm boost because the second axle just lift in the air and stays like that. My personal preference was the basic Citaro and also the Setra 418Le because it drives the second and third axles and it just looks elegant (wasn't slow either).
There a couple that did have a bit less performance, but that isn't of intrest here.
